Pragmatic Principal, Pete Wilson, has been studying the thoughts, feelings and behaviour of Australians for over 20 years. From farmers to government ministers; retirees and university students; community leaders and captains of industry; mums, dads and their kids; moviegoers, sports lovers and culture vultures.
After working for a number of social and market research agencies, Pete established Pragmatic Research and Advisory Services in February 2017. He has well-established relationships with data collection and fieldwork agencies, communications and advertising consultants and academic experts whom he regularly partners with to design and deliver high quality research projects.
Pete’s research projects have ranged from large-scale tracking studies and market segmentation to issues-based qualitative studies, stakeholder perceptions research and communications strategies.
He is a graduate of the University of Sydney with a Bachelor degree in Medical Science and has additional training in journalism. He has also taught the Market Research and Services Marketing courses to Bachelor of Business students at the Australian Catholic University. He is a full member of the Australian Social and Market Research Society (AMSRS) with Qualified Practising Market Researcher (QPMR) status.
He has worked for clients across a range of sectors. Click here for some recent examples of his work.
